Synthetic Turf Surfacing

Synthetic turf surfaces are rapidly growing in popularity as surfaces for many sports now. Their application is wide spread as professional Tennis, Football, Rugby, and Multi-Use surfaces.

We offer detailed advice on not only the positives of a particular “carpet”, but also the negatives in its application as well as detailed information on maintaining the court in its best possible condition.

Below is a general overview on the different styles and their applications:-

'Tufted'

Available in both 'sand-filled' and 'sand-dressed', tufted Carpets cover the full scope of sporting requirements. Whether specifically for an individual sport or for a 'multi- Use' facility we can offer a variety of appropriate carpets. Installed to our high standards, we ensure the facility's Potential is maximised. Synthetic clay surfaces are also increasing in popularity and there are several 'tufted' versions of these available. The concept being to overfill the carpet with red burnt or dyed sand that will replicate the 'slide and glide' feel of a clay court.

Our excellent performance in product placement and installation has led to our being offered and accepting 'Premier Partnership' with TigerTurf the UK's leading Manufacturer of tufted products.

'Needlepunch'

We currently offer 3 'needlepunch' products. These Products are generally lower maintenance than their 'tufted' equivalents, however slightly less versatile in their application.

The first being 'MatchPlayII' a sand dressed ITF (International Tennis Federation and AENA (All England Netball Association) recognised surface that caters for both tennis and netball. Its light sand dressing means maintenance is extremely low.
Secondly we offer a sand-filled carpet called 'MatchWinner'. This surface is a good 'multi-use' surface Where the application is more general recreation, than Specific sporting requirement. Again the maintenance is low yet the versatility of this product is reasonably high. And finally we offer 'Claytex', which is a replica-clay Surface designed using a rubber crumb infill to replicate The 'slide and glide' characteristics of a clay surface.

Our performance with this products has led to our being considered a ''Preferred Installer' for 'Playrite' one of the UK's leading synthetic manufacturers.
